Bringing your Autistic child for consultation
Consultation can either be in person or via Skype. I will read your child’s medical and educational assessments before the consultation. I will clarify and ask in more detail about points raised from study of your child’s reports. I will also ask you in your own words about your child’s development. I will also ask about family medical history, any other illness/health issues experienced by the child or young person, likes and dislikes, temperament, food preferences, fears, sleep and much more.
Depending on how verbal or non-verbal the child is I will interact with them as much as is possible and observe their mannerisms and behaviour. I have worked with children for many years and they generally find me very approachable and open up to me.
The aim of the consultation is to prescribe a homeopathic remedy that matches the individual expression and experience of your child’s diagnosis.
I take a three pronged approach to remedy selection. I prescribe a homeopathic remedy based on individual symptoms often called a constitutional remedy.
I may also prescribe a remedy or remedies to detox the system this is likely to relate to something from the case history at which point changes where noticed and maybe environmental or drug sensitivity.
I may also suggest some nutritional support to help the body to detox such as Vitamin C, Fish or Flax oil, Zinc. The cost of this is not included in the fee and I will suggest that you obtain this yourself.

I continue to treat all ages in my clinics from women trying to conceive, through pregnancy, babies, toddlers, school aged children, young adults, into middle age, menopause, retirement, old age.
